Reinforcements Are Coming!!!
Tomorrow the second wave of reinforcements are arriving to help with the troops. Grandma Kathie is flying in from Michigan for 2 weeks! We can't wait! Hopefully she remembered to pack her helmet and pads! Shane and Kathie already have something in common....they sneeze the same way....LOUD without any warning! It is hilarious!

We're Home!!!!!
We brought Baby Shane home to meet his big brothers today. Wyatt is enamored, Sammy is in love, and Jonah is pretending that he doesn't exist! Wyatt told us that "Baby Shane fell down and cracked his head open and that's why he doesn't have any hair." Overall everyone is happy to see us! I will have more to write tomorrow! I took this picture at the hospital and I LOVE it!!!!!

The Countdown Begins
John insisted on taking a picture of me on the last day that I will ever be pregnant (it wasn't my idea so I don't look great)! I did get a little chocked up tucking my boys into bed tonight though because I know that the next time I see them things will be different. Sammy will not be my baby anymore. I swear that he knew it too! He cuddled up to my neck when I hugged and kissed him goodnight and looked at my face like he was taking a good long last look as my baby! He was so sweet looking I almost feel bad giving him a new baby brother to love! Jonah seemed to know that something was different too, but not quite the same as Sammy. He seemed to sense that I was trying to remember him without the baby factor involved and just looked and stared at me. I distinctly remember after Jonah and Samuel were born how fast Wyatt seemed to grow up. He looked so mature and lost so many of his baby qualities as soon as an "actual" baby came into the house. I remember being taken by surprise that I never looked at him like he was a baby anymore. This time around I am trying to remember them as babies, but I am sure that as soon as I see my little 7 pounder they will mature instantly! Wyatt and I didn't have any special moments tonight before bed because he didn't nap today and was not in a sentimental sort of mood! I am sure that he will have tons of questions tomorrow, but mostly he will enjoy spending the day with Grandma and Grandpa! John will get strict instructions on how to post a picture for you, but I can not say for sure that he will get something posted! I am sure that he will do his best so keep your fingers crossed!
The End Is Near
In a little over 24 hours we will be a family of six! My doctor has us scheduled to come in tomorrow night between 3am and 7am for an induction. We are ready! We finally have all of the kids on the same antibiotic for ear infections and I am hopeful that they will be back to their normal personalities by tomorrow. (If not, feel very sorry for Grandma!!!!) Things are looking up and hopefully I will get some time to post tomorrow before we have to leave!

Musical Beds
The bed rearranging fiasco began tonight. The new bunk bed set is going to be delivered tomorrow so tonight we moved Wyatt's crib into our room for Baby #4. Wyatt is sleeping on his crib mattress on the floor in his room and tomorrow he will be sleeping in the new twin bed (that will eventually become Jonah and Sammy's bedroom set)! Got it?
In other news, poor Sammy has a double ear infection and started antibiotics tonight. He must have a pretty high pain tolerance because I thought for sure that I was being overly cautious taking him into the pediatrician, but it turns out that he was really sick.
In other other news, I am scheduled to have an induction next Monday Feb 23 unless Baby #4 decides to arrive sooner. I can't wait!

Happy Birthday To Me!
I didn't take any pictures today, but we are still alive...don't worry! Today was my birthday and I was hoping that baby #4 would decide that today was a great day to be born, but so far no luck! Maybe tomorrow will be the magic number.

Weekly Confessions
Top 5 Weekly Confessions:
1. I printed "Happy Valentine's Day Love Wyatt" on sticky address labels and had John stick them on little bags of candy instead of helping Wyatt sign his name on his Valentine cards even though he could probably use the practice
2. Yesterday I let all three boys watch 3 episodes of Dora in a row even though only one of them was sick.
3. Today we ate Krispy Kreme doughnuts for lunch because I was too tired to fix something healthy.
4. It wasn't until I got all of the way to Wyatt's preschool on Tuesday that I realized that Jonah had just climbed into his carseat but nobody had actually buckled him in! Whoops!
5. Yesterday I encouraged Sammy to wipe his nose on his sleeve so that I didn't have to get up of the couch and get him a kleenex.
***This picture is of Jonah and Samuel asleep tonight. I had to use the flash despite the risks of waking them because it was so cute!
Spittin Out
Sammy was sick today. He woke up "spittin out" (Wyatt's term for throwing up) and spent most of the day on the couch or on my (nonexistent) lap. He started to feel better around 3pm and ate 2 pedialite popsicles. The rest of the afternoon he seemed to perk up and you might not have ever known that he was even sick. Jonah seemed to be going downhill at dinnertime and didn't touch a thing on his plate, so I am a little worried about him too! We will see what tomorrow brings!

Gym Class
I took the boys to a sample gymnastics class today with my Moms Club. The kids had a great time and were BEYOND exhausted when we left the class. Wyatt told me on the way home "this is the most tired that I am Mom"! They were all in bed by 7pm tonight too! I am SO going to sign them up for this class on a weekly basis!

Blanket Wars
The majority of the arguments at our house are about blankets. Everybody has specific blankets that they sleep with and everybody knows who has which ones. Wyatt just got a new blanket that he calls his "really soft blanket" and it has been at the center of most of the controversy lately. Our blanket related arguments usually fall into one of these categories:
1. Blanket Stealing (Snatching from a brother and then running away with the stolen blanket)
2. Blanket Hoarding (Collecting everybody's blankets and hiding them)
3. Blanket Taunting (Taking a blanket and then waving it in front of the owner while playing keep away)
4. Blanket Collecting (Climbing over the gate to go upstairs to get everyone's blankets and then lovingly distribute to the siblings before attempting #1-#4)

Don't Count Your Eggs
I slept in this morning and John got up with the boys! He made the kids eggs for breakfast. At some point he said that he took Jonah upstairs to pick out some clothes and could hear Sammy and Wyatt hysterically laughing in the kitchen. When he came back downstairs they had pulled a chair up to the sink and were both standing on it and were throwing the rest of the eggs from the egg carton into the sink and then laughing when they broke. They threw 15 eggs into the sink before John caught them! When John told me the story I said at least they didn't throw the eggs on the floor, but he still didn't think that it was very funny!
